Spiritual Authority

Many believers have surrendered their spiritual authority to the enemy. How? We have allowed situations in our nation, homes, jobs, and families to weaken us. Instead of praying, fasting, and studying God’s Word, we’ve chosen to complain, make excuses, and blame the government. By doing this, we’ve forfeited the spiritual power God has given us to fight and reclaim what the enemy has stolen.

You may ask, “What is spiritual authority?” Spiritual authority is the God-given right to receive and use the power that dwells within us. Yet, many of us have stopped operating in the spirit and have given ourselves over to the enemy. This is why we see chaos in our lives, streets, and nation. This spiritual decline has led to violence among our sons, families torn apart, and streets filled with anger and bloodshed. Instead of standing united in prayer and fasting, we’ve allowed division, jealousy, and bitterness to rule.

Still, God is calling us to take back our spiritual authority. How can we do this? Psalm 91:1 says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” To reclaim our authority, we must recognize who our real enemy is—the one who seeks to devour and destroy our nation and families. Instead of fighting each other, we need to unite and use our authority to fight the enemy.

Spiritual authority is the power to act, to make a difference. As people of God, we must stand together, reclaim our role as the church, and truly live out our salvation. The enemy has taken our streets, our sons and daughters, and even weakened the church. God is calling us to action through prayer, fasting, and His Word. He urges us to seek Him, instead of tearing each other down or blaming our leaders. We should pray for our government, asking God to grant them wisdom and spiritual authority.

Let’s reclaim our spiritual authority by dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. Instead of battling within marriages, families, friendships, and workplaces, let’s find our strength in God. He’s calling our nation and His people back to Him, to seek Psalm 91:1 as our refuge. Reclaiming spiritual authority means dedicating ourselves to prayer, fasting, and the Word. Let us rise and become agents of change by committing ourselves fully to God. Take back your spiritual authority!
